Rick Fox Is Suing His Partners in the Esports Company He Cofounded

Here’s a Lovely Story About Apple Arcade’s Youngest Developer

For a change and to lighten up our mood a bit. let’s look at something really lovely. Over at Vice, Patrick Klepek has taken interest in the story of 14-year-old Spruce Campbell, a game developer from the British capital whose great work, a game called Operator 41, can be seen among Apple Arcade’s slate of available titles. Right from the beginning, when he got interested in learning how to program at the remarkably young age of 8, Campbell has been creating various apps and games, and he received a BAFTA award for young creators, meanwhile continuing to amaze lots of adults who couldn’t do what he could.

At the moment Operator 41, a stealth game, is the young man’s most complex work, and this is, in fact, a title Spruce Campbell personally pitched to the people at Apple Arcade. he thanked from the bottom of his heart to his family who supports him along the way and seemed very enthusiastic and brimming with ideas for further impressive creations. What great talent this kid is.

Recommendation of the Week: Obduction by Cyan Games, on PC

Do you already know the latest news about Obduction? Made by the authors of the legendary game Myst that at some point ranked on top of the list of the most popular games, this is one of the greatest 3D puzzle/adventure games ever created. You will be amazed at how good it is. The action takes place in a world that is fragmented, constructed from various timelines into one large fractured medley mess, and Obduction tells us about coming back home, discovering a community, and studying strange alien languages with, let’s say, base 13 instead of base 10 as an example. The puzzles are hard to solve, the level design is high, and the atmosphere is totally captivating. It really ticks all the boxes.
